50 years of computer science in Dresden
With Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, Munich and Saarbrücken, Dresden is one of the locations where the first university computer science study courses were established in Germany in 1969. This date marks the 50th anniversary of 2019, because at the TU Dresden the information processing section was founded on 1 January 1969. On September 1 of the same year, the first year began his studies. Informatics education is the foundation for a successful future - digitizing the opportunity for regional growth.
